we are not bad parents...

on saturday we had our annual christmas celebrations with friends... and Dante and Erica (Dave and Heather's daughter) had a little play together outside... no matter how many toys there are to play with, kids always find the most inappropriate thing to fight over... we are not bad parents, the bottle was empty and rinsed... but it kept them entertained for ages! nothing better than a bit of tug of war over a beer haha

Dante has been busy

The past few weeks Dante has been busy learning... its a full time job because there is so much to discover! It is amazing how quickly kids learn, without being taught! It also means that i've been busy chasing Dante around the house, standing by to try to stop him falling, and to cuddle him when i don't catch him on time and to kiss his 'ouchies' away... its so much fun being a mum!

Dante's First Swim

summer is here and its time for Dante to learn to swim! I bought him these adorable bathers with a matching hat (he'll probably hate me for it when he's older) hee hee :) He wasn't too sure at first because it was a bit colder than his warm bath but then had a great time kicking and splashing!

tassie

Dante and I went to Tassie in November to visit our buddies :) We had a great time just hanging out with the girls and the boys... It was so nice to catch up and compare our joys and challenges that motherhood brings... but mostly just to laugh :) Thanks girlies xoxo

i'm not sure what i do with my time but its been a while since i've updated my blog! sorry!

the bouncinette has been stored in the shed after this little episode! he was watching me hang the wash one minute, and the next decided it was a better idea to sit up in it! i just caught him before he toppled it over (and then put a brick or 3 on the other side to counterbalance :)
